What’s on your mind when you notice that your fellow-customer is moulding a roll in front of you – possibly for testing its freshness – without using hygienic gloves or at least a reversed plastic bag? It is bloodcurdling, isn’t it? The law stipulates that all food products launched in retail circulation must be packed, but the general practice is quite specific in case of baked products. In Slovakia an amendment of the Food Law was approved recently which prohibits the trade of unpacked food products even in the case of baked products as well.
